Project Description

• Estimated Construction Cost: $12.1M

For this project we had the responsibility, as the prime, to oversee the design phase of this project. For this project we developed a schematic and the PS & E to construct this new roadway.   This roadway was a four (4) lane divide roadway with a sixteen (16) foot median. This project also included installing new pedestrian facilities. With the pedestrian facilities, we also designed for four (4) signalized intersections. This PS & E package included all pertinent documentation including a detailed cost estimate, specifications, general notes, and complete design sheet set (plan sheets, utility sheets, design sheets, required standards, etc.).  During the design of this project, we held multiple public meetings as well as met with all utility companies that were going to be affected by this design. This allowed us to prevent most backlashes that the public entity and utilities companies suggested.
